Overview
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and people-focused Operations Officer to help support the smooth day-to-day running of our vibrant Penwith Campus. If you enjoy variety, thrive in a busy environment and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in campus operations, providing administrative, reception and operational support to staff, students, visitors and external partners. From coordinating timetabling changes and supporting admissions, to assisting with events and helping ensure a safe and welcoming campus environment, no two days are the same.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting student admissions and campus administration.
- Coordinating reception cover and operational activities across campus.
- Managing room changes and timetabling amendments.
- Assisting with examinations and invigilation when required.
- Supporting health and safety processes and staff compliance records.
- Helping deliver College events, Open Days, Parents’ Evenings and community activities.
- Acting as a key operational contact and deputising on routine operational matters when required.
What we’re looking for
You’ll have excellent organisational and communication skills, experience in an administrative or customer-facing role, and confidence using Microsoft 365 applications. You’ll be a team player who can manage competing priorities, build positive relationships and remain calm under pressure.
Experience within education, admissions, examinations, timetabling or operational services would be advantageous, but most importantly you’ll bring enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
