Awards 2024

After a fantastic evening of celebrations in November 2022, the date for the eighth annual Cornwall Apprenticeship Awards has been set for Friday 09 February 2024, to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week. Having outgrown its traditional venue at Truro College, Truro and Penwith College's Awards evening will establish new roots at The Eden Project in 2024. Nominations are now open!

An evening of exceptional achievement

Truro and Penwith College, in partnership with Hertzian, Pirate FM, Business Cornwall and sponsors from across the Cornish business community, is pleased to open nominations for the 2024 Cornwall Apprenticeship Awards.

The high-profile awards evening will again celebrate exceptional achievement across 17 categories at the gala awards dinner presented by Holly Day and Neil Caddy from Pirate FM on Friday 09 February.

For the first time, the 2024 Awards will see the very best colleagues, training advisors and lecturers recognised for exceptional levels of support to ensure apprentices enjoy a quality start to their career in the new Mentor of the Year category.

Award favourites Achiever of the Year and the coveted Cornwall's Apprentice of the Year will return alongside 12 dedicated sector categories for apprentices, with the event focusing on the positive impact apprenticeships are having on future skills as they equip learners and workplaces with the tools to succeed, move with future economic developments and boost businesses across the county and beyond.

Employers, large and small will again be recognised for delivering Cornwall's top apprenticeship training programmes, offering learners outstanding opportunities to develop professionally and personally, while making valued contributions to their workplace, sector and the wider Cornish economy.
