From September 2027, the College will offer T Level Marketing and T Level Accounting, expanding its successful T Level provision and providing students with even more opportunities to combine academic learning with valuable industry experience.

Students looking to develop career-focused skills in two exciting and growing industries will soon be able to choose from two brand-new qualifications at Truro & Penwith College.

Equivalent to three A Levels, T Levels are designed in collaboration with employers to equip students with the technical knowledge, practical skills and workplace experience needed to progress into skilled employment, apprenticeships or higher education.

The new Marketing pathway will explore areas including digital marketing, branding and communications, while the Accounting pathway will focus on key industry skills such as budgeting, accounting systems and digital technologies used within the profession. Both programmes include a substantial industry placement, enabling students to gain first-hand experience in the workplace and develop skills valued by employers.

Susan Edwards, Head of Business at Truro & Penwith College, said:

“We’re really excited to be offering learners the opportunity to gain a vocational qualification which covers relevant and current topics such as digital marketing, branding and communications in the T Level in Marketing and budgeting, accounting systems and digital skills in the Accounting T Level, whilst also gaining industry-specific experience in their chosen sector. This offers a great balance between gaining qualifications and valuable work experience.”

The new courses build upon the College’s strong track record of delivering high-quality education and outstanding student outcomes. In Summer 2026, 80% of Truro & Penwith College T Level students achieved a Merit, Distinction or Distinction*, compared with 68.9% nationally, according to provisional Department for Education figures.

For more than 30 years, Truro & Penwith College has been helping students achieve their ambitions through excellent teaching, industry partnerships and career-focused learning opportunities. The addition of T Level Marketing and T Level Accounting further strengthens the College’s commitment to ensuring students develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed to succeed in a rapidly changing workplace.

Students interested in either course, along with their parents and carers, are encouraged to attend the College’s Open Day on Saturday 7 November to meet lecturers, explore facilities and learn more about where these qualifications could lead.
