Eliquo Hydrok has worked in partnership with Truro and Penwith College to develop an Apprenticeship programme that brings a pipeline of fresh talent into the business.
2021 saw the College support the recruitment of up to 17 new Apprenticeship roles at the organisation’s head office and main factory in Indian Queens.
Eliquo Hydrok is an established market leader and provider of water treatment technologies to all municipal water companies in the UK and Ireland, with products and services that help protect the health of rivers, seas and drinking water.
Apprentices are playing a key part in the organisations vision to provide sustainable water treatment solutions.
Talking at the launch of the new Apprenticeship roles, Peter Wroe, joint Managing Director at Eliquo Hydrok said: “As an established local employer we have a team of 120 people who are crucial in delivering our quality and performance. We have a clear growth strategy over the next five years which will see investment in our people and premises, so we are recruiting for roles across all teams and levels – including Apprentices. These roles provide opportunities for the community of Cornwall and wider South West for a “first job” through to experienced management.”
