After running her own business in Children’s Entertainment for 14 years, Sue wanted to return to education to prove to herself that she could get the qualifications she had always wanted. After completing the Access to Higher Education Computing course at Truro College along with GCSE Math’s and English, Sue pursued her dream of going to Unviersity by progressing on to the Cyber Security Foundation Degree.
Sue said: “I chose the University Centre because it was accessible for me. The fact I didn’t have to move away to study was brilliant. My family are here so it wouldn’t be an option to move away”
“Both of my children came to Truro College and from their positive experiences, I knew I would enjoy coming here to study”
“I have enjoyed every aspect, I was even excited to take an exam as it gave me the full experience of being back in Education”
“Cyber Security is the subject that I was interested in from the start. The lecturers are so friendly and they have helped me to pass my first year. I am excited to continue and can’t wait to graduate.
