Across its campus and community locations, Truro and Penwith College offers a broad range of 19+ programmes, including professional qualifications and masterclasses, Skills Bootcamps, English, maths and ESOL qualifications and personal development courses.

Skills Bootcamps Provision
The College offers a range of seventeen Skills Bootcamps, funded by the Department for Education to support adults to re-train or upskill for career development, in areas including Construction, Early Years, Digital, Health, Hospitality and Project Management
DfE Expert Apprenticeship Provider
We are proud of the recognition we’ve received nationally. In 2023, we were named Cornwall’s only DfE Expert Apprenticeship Provider and awarded Apprenticeship Provider of the Year in 2025. We are now one of the top three General Further Education Colleges in England, and the best performing College in the South West for apprenticeship achievement.
Expansion of Delivery Locations
In a major development, we are delighted to now expand our Adult Learning provision in Bodmin, extending opportunities to residents in North East Cornwall and beyond. This location strengthens our commitment to making learning accessible for all and supporting the region’s workforce needs.
Fully-funded Courses
In partnership with Cornwall Council through the devolved Adult Skills Fund, we’ve expanded our fully-funded Level 3 qualifications via the Free Courses for Jobs initiative. Adults earning under £26,009 can now access training that leads to meaningful employment — such as Access to Higher Education Diplomas, leadership awards, and industry – recognised qualifications – at no cost.
