Improvers Car Mechanics

Moving on from the basic course, students will improve their skills and knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics, maintenance and servicing. This can include such tasks as removing and rebuilding braking systems, removing and refitting electrical components such as alternators, starter motors and electric window/wiper motors. It can also include removing and refitting coolant radiators, removing and refitting radiator hoses, removing and refitting spark plugs, oil and filter changes and removing and refitting suspension components.

Students must provide their own safety footwear.
