Luke and Sam have been close friends since year 7 at the Roseland Academy and came in to celebrate each other’s success today. Luke achieved AAA in Sociology, Classical Civilisation and English Language and Literature A Levels, while Sam pushed himself with 5 subjects and achieved A*s in Maths and Electronics, As in Physics and Further Maths AS Level, and a B in 3D Design.

Sam found the subjects he chose challenging but rewarding, saying: “Maths was definitely the hardest! I really enjoyed Electronics; it’s a rare course to find which is why I chose it. I’m now going to Southampton University to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering, I’m really looking forward to using the facilities and equipment.”
Meanwhile, Luke is going to study English and Creative Writing at Cardiff University. “My advice is to show up every day!”
