Transport

Our Transport Scheme is available to all students. All buses used are service buses and are available throughout most of Cornwall, and a bus pass on this scheme offers flexible travel at considerably reduced rates. The application forms are ready for collection from the Transport Desk from 22 February.

You can contact the Transport Desk on 01872 267003.

Bursary and subsidised bus pass

Students whose household income is less than £31,000 per year may receive a subsidised Truro and Penwith College bus pass, or Cornwall Council assisted transport costs on application (subject to review). For continuing students it will be dependent on a minimum of 90% attendance during the previous term, as recorded on the College’s MIS database. Higher Education students are not eligible for a subsidised bus pass.

A College transport service is available for students who don’t qualify for subsidised travel. The College can arrange a bus pass on First service routes. In addition, we also provide transport links with Looe. More details are available from the College Transport Desk.
