My story:
Jacob has always had an interest in helping others and wanted an opportunity to make improvements to college life outside of his studies, so he joined the College Student Council. As part of the Council he could get involved with fundraisers and events and turn his ideas into positive actions.
“Since joining the College I have developed skills like working with others and taking notes,” said Jacob. “I have learnt to be more professional and had the opportunity to come up with ideas and be creative with them. When planning events, we try to make them as fun as possible while also raising funds.
