Lowenna studied the IB Diploma at Truro College until 2016, before studying PPE at Oxford University and joining the Civil Service Faststream. Following roles in the Home Office and Forestry Commission, she is currently a Senior Policy and Strategy Advisor for the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (Department for Education). One of her responsibilities is leading the ‘green’ strategy, ensuring apprenticeships and technical qualifications equip learners with green skills to enable the net zero and nature recovery transitions.
