What are Skills Bootcamps?
Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to sixteen weeks, which offer eligible adults aged 19 and over the unique opportunity to access funded training, which culminates in either a guaranteed job interview offer for their chosen occupation or support with progressing their career or business. These short courses are FREE for individuals looking to upskill or change career and the Department for Education will cover 90% of the training costs for SME employers and 70% for large employers who want to enrol their staff onto a Skills Bootcamp.
Skills Bootcamps are part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping everyone gain skills for life, and are funded by the National Skills Fund to develop and deliver Skills Bootcamps in economic priority sectors where there are identified skills gaps.
