Cornwall’s Only Accredited Chartered Institute of Marketing Study Centre Introduces Innovative Programme.
Truro and Penwith College proudly announced their accreditation as a Study Centre for the prestigious Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in 2023 and is furthering its credentials as a provider of choice for Marketing professionals by launching a brand-new apprenticeship programme.
The 2023 accreditation places the College as the sole CIM Accredited Study Centre west of Bristol, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards providing top-tier marketing education and commitment to upskilling.
In addition to this prestigious accreditation, Truro and Penwith College is excited to announce the launch of a new apprenticeship standard – the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer.

We are proud to offer a diverse range of programmes that cater to the needs of aspiring marketers and industry professionals in this fast-moving occupation and welcome the introduction of a new apprenticeship that will develop the skills and knowledge that Marketing professionals now need across a range of platforms and channels.” Commented Charli Styles, Programme Team Leader for Future Skills at Truro & Penwith College.
The Apprenticeship is designed to create a pathway for learners looking to step into a career within marketing, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the wider digital landscape.
The College is now actively seeking employers interested in taking on apprentices and investing in the future of marketing talent. The delivery of this programme is a hybrid model of online and face to face, with the in-person sessions delivered at the STEM and Health Skills Centre in Bodmin and at the Truro campus.
With this accreditation, Truro and Penwith College have underscored the depth and breadth of their Marketing provision, which also includes a further iteration of the highly successful Skills Bootcamp in Digital Marketing alongside University Centre Truro and Penwith and Career & Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
The recognition from CIM further validates the College’s dedication to delivering high-quality education that meets industry standards and prepares students for successful careers in marketing.
