Business Masterclass - Psychological Safety in the Workplace

This seminar is designed for aspiring and practising leaders and managers who would like to broaden their leadership skill set, evaluating and developing their understanding of psychological safety in the workplace. It is ideal for those responsible for leading and developing teams, aiming to foster positivity, collaboration, innovation and sustainable performance.

Psychological safety is crucial for fostering a high-functioning, resilient team, while its absence often leads to poor employee retention and high turnover rates. This masterclass thoroughly examines all essential aspects of psychological safety, empowering leaders to assess and enhance levels within their teams. By energising team learning, enhancing engagement and boosting motivation, participants will cultivate a supportive and thriving team environment.

Programme Content:

  • Develop an understanding of what psychological safety is and how this can impact performance
  • Assessing the levels of psychological safety within your team
  • Creating a positive 'challenge culture' - managing conflict and challenging conversations 'safely'
  • How to increase collaboration, innovation and creativity through psychological safety
  • Exploring 'value adding' communication, and when this could be applied to create impact and encourage inclusivity
  • Strategies for sustaining and reinforcing psychological safety over time, including ongoing assessment and adaptation to changing team dynamics
