Get into Teaching Taster

Are you thinking about a career in teaching but not sure where to start? Whether you do not currently have a degree, or you do and are looking for the next step, during your session you will be able to speak to our Education lecturers and receive guidance towards the best route into teaching for you. This session will provide a practical introduction to learning, teaching and assessment. It will encourage you to consider your own experiences as a learner to explore the defining characteristics of a good teacher. The session will focus on the communication and planning skills required to deliver a lesson and check that learning has taken place. The tutor will also provide an overview of pathways into teaching.
