The RESTORE2™ Full Tool enables healthcare staff to identify and manage acute deterioration in community health and care settings. The RESTORE2™ uses the "soft signs" of deterioration, recording of physiological observations, calculation of a National Early Warning Score (NEWS2), an escalation protocol and the use of SBARD, a structured communication tool, to help staff to raise their concerns effectively.
The face-to-face training will enable attendees to gain the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to apply the RESTORE2™ tool in their place of work. It is appropriate for registered nurses and non-registered care staff who have previously undertaken training in the recording of physiological observations and have evidence of competency.
The British Geriatric Society, NHS England and the Academic Health Science Network recommend using RESTORE2™
