Marine Academy
The Marine Academy enrichment programme is for anyone with an interest in the sea, ocean conservation and the protection of our local marine life.
what can i expect?
We will focus on Mounts Bay as a marine conservation zone with its diverse array of seaweeds, marine creatures, and coastal habitats.
We will also learn about grey seals, seaweed identification, pollution and seasonal change alongside getting out and about on trips such as rock pooling, completing environmental surveys, snorkelling, juvenile lobster releases, seagrass meadow and kelp surveys, beach cleans, marine based trips and talks from local marine based guest speakers.
