Attending an Open Event is a great opportunity to explore the campus, see our specialist facilities and speak to our teaching staff. We are here to answer any questions that you might have and help you to make an application.
What To Expect
There is a lot to see and do at an Open Event, so we will provide you with an event guide when you arrive which will help you find your way around campus. Each course will have a dedicated location on the campus, so we recommend that you choose a selection of courses that you are interested in from your guide, and head over to those locations for more details. When you arrive at your destination, our friendly team of tutors and staff will be waiting to give you more information about the course and help with any queries you may have.
There will be fantastic activities and experiences to take part in around the campus to give you an understanding of the outstanding facilities and opportunities that are available. Make sure you take full advantage of these workshops and informative talks throughout the event.
You will also have the opportunity to speak to other departments at the College, including Student Services, Careers, Enrichment and more.
If you’re already interested in joining our College, you can visit our Application Station where staff will be able to help you make an application for a course. You can also apply online at a later date if you need more time to go through your options.
Be sure to pick up as much information as you can. There will be a lot to take in during the event, so taking some information away with you will make your discussions at home a lot easier. Grab a prospectus and other literature before you leave and make notes on your event guide while you talk with members of staff.
Before You Go
If you’re planning to travel by car, parking for the event will be clearly signposted. Visitors are advised to arrive after 4:30pm. The College’s ANPR Parking System will be in operation and issuing fines to unregistered vehicles before this time. Any visitors arriving before 4:30pm must register their car with reception to avoid receiving a fine.
If you’re planning to travel by bus, the Langarth Park and Ride is on the main road a few minutes away from the College and there are bus stops right outside the campus. To view the latest and upcoming timetables please visit the First Website.
You can start your journey from any building but be sure to pick up an open event guide from one of our friendly student ambassadors or a member of the marketing team. After that, the campus is yours to explore!
