As an academic all-rounder, you will have enjoyed studying a range of subjects at GCSE and will want to continue to do so at a higher level with this excellent alternative to A Levels.

You will be part of an enthusiastic and pro-active group of students and will develop your understanding, respect and compassion alongside your studies.

The IB Diploma actively promotes international mindedness with many IB students developing an interest in the wider world, and you have a chance to take part in the annual visit to Eswatini for the Shewula Orphan Project. You could see for yourself how more than £100,000 already raised by Truro College IB students has been invested, and work with your fellow students to decide which aspects of the project will benefit from future funds.

In 2019, the average point score was 36, which is equivalent to three A* grades and one A grade at A Level. Nearly a third of the cohort scored 40 points or more which is equivalent to nearly five A* grades at A Level, this places them in the top 10% of students worldwide. This course is only available at Truro College.
