From Sunday 31 March 2024 Cornwall by Kernow and Go Bus Cornwall timetables and routes will be changing. Check whether your journeys will change by visiting their websites or social media.

Welcome first years! We hope that you've had a great summer and we're looking forward to seeing you here in September. This page shows the information for first year registration at both our Truro and Penwith campuses. Lectures will start the week commencing 18 September 2023.

Registration and Induction Day

Truro: Tuesday 12 September, Fal building, 9.15am - 4pm

Penwith: Wednesday 13 September, Penberth building, 10am - 11.45am

At the induction you will meet your fellow students and your programme lead to go through the details of your course and modules, complete the enrolment process, find out more about the support on offer and attend some interactive workshops. You will be shown how to access the College intranet and online systems. There will also be an opportunity to meet current students and to link up with students with similar hobbies and interests.

More details will be sent to you in August via email.

What to bring with you

You will need to bring some photo ID to registration, such as a passport or driving license. Please also bring the relevant finance documents (from the section below) with you on the day.

Please ensure you fill out this Enrolment Form by Friday 08 September.

Students will be expected to wear their ID at all times. Lanyards will be provided at registration.

A refundable book deposit of £30 will be required in order to loan books and specialist equipment. This can be paid via our portal or in the Fal learning resource centre once you have started your course. Please follow this guidance on how to pay.

We run an exclusive range of activities here at the University Centre. This includes lunchtime drop-in sessions that are available for students to relax and socialise with friends, exercise classes, gym sessions and swimming. Find out more about HWS here.

Please be aware that Parking at the Truro Campus is limited, and it is advised to use the Park and Ride where possible. You will be able to apply for a parking permit after you have enrolled in September.

Support is available for all University Centre students needing general advice about facilities, discussing confidential issues, accessing hardship funds and applying for student finance, disability support and Disabled Student Allowance (DSA). Find out more about Student Support here.

Truro also has a park and ride which stops outside of the campus.
