How do I buy tickets?
Click HERE to purchase tickets. Each graduate is allowed to bring two paying guests, but there is no charge for graduating students to attend. Tickets are available from Thursday 8 July 2021 at 6pm (HE results day) until Friday 8th October 2021 at midnight.
How do I login to the ticket portal?
Search for 'Truro and Penwith College' as the institution (not the University of Plymouth) and use your 'Truro and Penwith College' student ID that is part of your email address (without your initials at the start) to login. Please note that you are asked to provide an email address for your tickets to be emailed to, but this can be any email address.
Why can't I register or buy tickets for graduation?
Only students who have fully passed their course are eligible for graduation - if you have any referred work then this must be completed before you are able to register. If you owe library resources or tuition fees, you may also not be eligible for graduation.
I can't login to my graduation account from last year:

As a graduate, do I need to book my own ticket?
Yes, all graduates need to book a ticket to reserve their seats but graduate tickets are free.
I would like to bring more than 2 guests. How can I do this?
The capacity at Truro Cathedral is limited and unfortunately we have to restrict each graduate to two guests. Any unsold tickets will be available from 11am on Monday 11th October 2021. Graduates will be able to purchase a further two guest tickets and can do this through the account that they purchased their original tickets.
How many extra tickets can I purchase?
If there are any unsold tickets, you will be able to purchase up to two additional tickets. Tickets can be purchased HERE from 11am on Monday 11th October 2021. Additional tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. There are also tickets available on the door on the night. These are sold at £6 per ticket and must be purchased with cash. These are also available on a first come, first served basis.
I want to come but I don’t require any guest tickets. What do I do?
Even if you do not wish to buy tickets, please inform us that you wish to attend by registering your details HERE

No, all ticket sales are now online and can be booked HERE
Who do I contact about special requirements for myself or for my guests?
You will be asked at the ticket checkout if you have any special requirements such as disabled access, seating arrangements or assistance required. Please contact email@example.com to make us aware of your situation.
When do I receive my tickets?
Your tickets will arrive via email. It is important that you register with your correct and current email address as this is the email that your tickets will be sent to. You will recieve your e-tickets on Wednesday 20th October 2021.
Where do I book my gown?
Go to the website HERE or call 01223 861 854. Once you have ordered your gown, you will collect it from inside Truro Cathedral on the evening of the ceremony at your designated COURSE ARRIVAL TIME. Booking for gowns closes one week prior to the event.
Do I have to wear a gown?
Gowns are optional but recommended. The vast majority of students choose to wear them and all Programme Leaders, Senior Management and VIPs will be wearing ceremonial dress.
How do I book photography?
Go to the website HERE or call 01223 861 854. You can book photography at the same time as booking your gown.
Where do I pick up my gown and have my photography done?
When you get to the Cathedral, you will register to ensure that your name is called out. You will then head to the back of the Cathedral where you will pick up your gown, hood and hat and if you have booked it, will have your photographs taken here.
When do I arrive at Truro Cathedral?
Registration arrival times for courses are staggered to minimise queuing - see COURSE ARRIVAL TIMES. You must arrive on time at the West Door (front, main entrance) and register immediately. If you do not register, your name will not be read out in the ceremony.
What COVID-19 safety will be in place?
The Cathedral have requested that masks must be worn at all times while inside the cathedral. There will be sanitation stations at the entrance to the cathedral, on the registration tables and on the food and drink stations. Tongs and plates are provided for the food. Please respect others and ensure you sanitise before using the tongs.
Do I have to stay in the Cathedral once I have registered?
No, graduates will arrive at designated times to register but are free to leave with the understanding that they must return to be seated between 6pm-7:00pm. (this may be subject to change)
When can my guests arrive at Truro Cathedral?
Guests can arrive from 4:30pm to register with the graduates and will directed to seats between 6pm-7:00pm. (this may be subject to change)
Does Truro Cathedral have disabled access?
Yes, there is a ramp to the left of the West Door (front, main entrance) next to the shop. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org so we can arrange appropriate seating for you.
Do I sit with my family and friends?
Graduates sit together in their courses, seperate from their family members, but there is plenty of time before and after the ceremony to spend time with friends and family.
Does my child need a ticket?
If you child is in a pushchair or needs to sit on a lap, you do not require a guest ticket for your child. If your child is of an age that they will need their own seat, you will need to purchase your child a ticket.
How long does the Graduation ceremony last?
The ceremony normally finishes by 9pm, with drinks for students and guests served afterwards (this maybe subject to change to an earlier time)
Do I have to stay until the end of the ceremony?
Graduates and guests must all remain seated throughout the ceremony, except for collecting certificates and awards.
When do I receive my certificate?
Certificates will be posted by recorded delivery once they have been received from the University of Plymouth, which is usually in November. Please ensure the College has the correct address for you when you leave.
