Awards 2025

Following a fantastic evening of celebrations at the Eden Project in 2024, the ninth annual Cornwall Apprenticeship Awards will once again take place at the stunning venue on Friday 07 February 2025. Nominations are now open!

An evening of exceptional achievement

Truro and Penwith College and Headline Sponsor Hertzian, in partnership with Watson Marlow, Wildanet, Duchy Hospital, Hits Radio Cornwall, Business Cornwall and sponsors from across the Cornish business community are pleased to open nominations for the 2025 Cornwall Apprenticeship Awards.

The high-profile awards evening will again celebrate exceptional achievement across 18 categories at the gala awards dinner presented by Neil and Saffy from Hits Radio Cornwall's Breakfast Show on Friday 07 February.

In addition to two new Mentor of the Year categories, introduced in 2024 to recognise the vital role of academic and workplace mentors, the 2025 Awards will see a dedicated Nursing & Clinical Apprentice of the Year category added for the very first time, along with Healthcare and Early Years Apprentice of the Year to reflect the recent growth and innovation in apprenticeships in these sectors.

Award favourites Achiever of the Year and the coveted Cornwall's Apprentice of the Year will return alongside a total of 12 dedicated sector categories for apprentices, with the event focusing on the positive impact apprenticeships are having on future skills as they equip learners and workplaces with the tools to succeed, move with future economic developments and boost businesses across the county and beyond.

Employers, large and small will again be recognised for delivering Cornwall's top apprenticeship training programmes, offering learners outstanding opportunities to develop professionally and personally, while making valued contributions to their workplace, sector and the wider Cornish economy.
