Ready steady go! Foundation Studies staff and students from Truro and Penwith College raced around Truro this week for a charity close to their hearts. Joining hundreds of fellow fundraisers our team overcame personal challenges to compete in the annual charity fun run ROC5K , sponsored by the College, raising money for people in Cornwall with additional needs.
Among those rising to the challenge along with some of our Foundation Studies students was FS Lecturer Tommy who said: “The Roc charity puts on many events for our students to participate in outside of College to help them build and develop the social and personal skills for life so it was important for us to all cross the finish line.”
