HNC Manufacturing Engineering
The course has been designed for both full-time students wanting to develop a career in Manufacturing Engineering and part-time students already working in industry wishing to gain further knowledge and skills to progress in their careers.

What Will I Learn?
Initially, you will learn the mathematical and scientific principles that underpin the subject of Manufacturing Engineering. These principles are then used to produce engineering designs, manufacture effectively and manage engineering projects in a professional way. You will also study advanced design analysis and manufacturing techniques that enable you to turn your engineering design solutions into innovative, sustainable products and systems. More advanced methods are then taught that provide an understanding of advanced manufacturing technology and lean methods, to enable manufacturing businesses to compete on a global basis.

Typical roles could include: Manufacturing  Systems Technician, Manufacturing Systems Engineer and other role engineering professional and technician roles.
Opportunity to top up to BSc/BEng programmes at colleges and universities locally and regionally on successful application.
Entry Requirements
48 UCAS points from a relevant Level 3 qualification, Grade 4 English and Grade 5 or above in Maths.
