Together we will provide every participant with a tailored package of skills. The learning activities delivered will be based on both an individual's career aspirations and training requirements, and on the development needs of their employer. Employers will be the primary point of engagement and will inform and request the workforce development activities required to enhance or grow their business.
This approach will support both businesses and employed individuals in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly by enhancing labour-relevant skills and knowledge capabilities within the workforce in the hope of enhancing the business’ performance, productivity and potential for sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

ILM

Do you meet the requirements of one of these projects?
SHINE PROJECT
- You need to be able to show that you have the right to live and work in the UK (proven through showing ID).
- You should not have accessed the funding before.
- You will need to complete a short guidance appointment with our Guidance Officers.
One of the following is also required:
- To be employed or self-employed with a gross annual income of less than £25,509.
- Self Employed for less than 3 years.
- Unemployed due to redundancy in the last 6 months.
- Be under notice of a redundancy issued within 6 months. (proof required)
- Know that you will be made redundant in the next 6 months.
ELS PROJECT
- You need to be able to show that you have the right to live and work in the UK (proven through showing ID).
- You should not have accessed the funding before.
- You will need to complete a short guidance appointment with our Guidance Officers.
- You need to be employed or registered as self-employed.
The following is also required:
- You should work within the Hospitality or Leisure Industry. (This includes hair, beauty, tourism and theme parks.)
- Course cost should be financially supported by your employer or company.
RISE PROJECT
- You need to be able to show that you have the right to live and work in the UK (proven through showing ID).
- You should not have accessed the funding before.
- You will need to complete a short guidance appointment with our Guidance Officers.
- You need to be employed or registered as self-employed.
The following is also required:
- Course cost should be financially supported by your employer or company.
