Penwith College Open Evening – Thursday

Attending an Open Event is a great opportunity to explore the campus, see our specialist facilities and speak to our teaching staff. We are here to answer any questions that you might have to help you to make a positive decision about your future study.

What To Expect

There is a lot to see and do at an Open Event. When you arrive, come and see us in Sennen reception to pick up your event guide which will help you find your way around campus.

Each lecturer will be in their usual teaching room so that not only will you have time to speak to them one to one about the course in detail, you will also have the opportunity see the first-class teaching facilities.

Whilst college is a time for learning,  it is also a period for personal development and growth. Take time to look beyond the course information and find out about all of the heath, wellbeing and sport, enrichment activities and support available to all college students.

If you are in year 11 or are over 19 and already interested in joining our College, you can visit our Application Station where staff will be able to help you make an application for a course. You can also apply online at a later date if you need more time to go through your options.

If you are in year 10, this is just the start of your journey. We believe that the best decisions are born out of researching your options and being open to new ideas. This is the perfect opportunity for you become more familiar with the campus, find out what courses are available, what style of learning suits your personality and start to whittle down your options working towards a final decision next year.

Open Event Talk

Join us for an Apprenticeship Information Talk at the Open Evening. Our expert team will talk you through the quality careers available with some of Cornwall’s top employers in over 30 Apprenticeship programmes. Please register your place using the button below. The talk will take place at 5.30pm in the Zennor Conference Room.

The open event will continue as usual alongside this talk for you to explore the campus, meet tutors, ask your questions and explore state-of-the-art facilities before submitting your College application.
