What to expect from a Penwith open event
Open Events are the perfect way to explore courses, campus life, and meet our tutors at Penwith College. Start at Sennen reception to pick up an event guide and get directions from Student Ambassadors.
You can also talk to Student Services, Careers, Enrichment, and Transport teams about available support. Grab a prospectus and other materials, and take notes during your conversations. There’s onsite parking with clear signage, and bus stops are nearby.
Please note that while registering for an event helps us to improve your event experience, you are not required to register in order to attend.

When you arrive at an Open Event, grab an event guide to navigate campus and find subjects of interest. Our tutors and staff are available to answer questions and provide information about courses.
We offer workshops and talks on various subjects—check the event guide for details. If you’re ready to apply, visit an application station for assistance. Don’t forget to explore other departments like Student Services, Careers, and Enrichment.
If you need more time, you can apply online later. Be sure to collect as much information as possible, including a prospectus, and take notes on your event guide to help with discussions at home.
