My story:

Ben was given the ultimate endorsement after being selected for England’s Under 18s Rugby squad and has praised the College for its input into his training which helped him make England selection.

Ben has played number 8 position for the College’s Exeter Chiefs Academy and Ben’s coaches have said that he is following in the footsteps of many international players who have been products of the Academy.

Ben said: “It’s been a lot of hard work and great feedback from the coaches. The College has helped by always being on top of our training and looking at the programme to see how we can develop.

“I’m pretty rugby focussed now but the College has been great at helping to fit my course around our rugby training, it’s well-balanced work.

“A typical day at College would be that you start off in the gym first, do some relaxed stretching and after that get into the weights. You then go onto the rugby pitch where there is a lot of fun and games at the start of training. Then you go into a solid rugby session. If your interest is rugby, you should join the Rugby Academy for sure.

“Joining College, I have made lots of new friends and my favourite thing is being around my mates. All my classes are with the Rugby Academy anyway, so its great to learn and do it all together.”
