My Story:
Damien’s Level 2 Preparation for Public Services course has helped him to choose what he wants to do in the future.
Despite being impacted by Covid-19 restrictions, Damien enjoyed his course: “It was fun. It was a lot of work, but it was good.
“The tutors and staff were very helpful too. When you got stuck on something, they’d always come and help you.”
Damien also took advantage of the extracurricular activities that the College offers, choosing to join the Rugby Academy. When he joined, Covid restrictions meant he couldn’t play any contact sports. In his second year, he will be able to play: “Next year is going to be exciting!”
Next year, Damien will be taking the Construction Skills course before joining the Marines, which he hopes will be his career.
Damien’s advice for new students: “Do your research on College courses and choose something you really like.”
