Luckily, with the University Centre Truro and Penwith, he didn’t have to compromise on location to study his passion.

Fred’s journey with the College has come full circle, from playing in Truro College’s Football Academy first team to later coaching it. Alongside this, he became a fully qualified gym instructor thanks to his degree at the University Centre and now is committed to helping students both on the pitch and in the gym.

Jo’s transformative journey started with Access to Health & Social Care and led to a First-Class degree, all while thriving in her dream role as an NHS Mental Health Coach. The best part? She did it all from her hometown of Penzance with the University Centre Truro and Penwith.

Maisie says her favourite thing about Truro and Penwith College is her tutors and she would recommend the College to others because it helps her feel independent and achieve her goals.
Ross – HND Applied Psychology
Ross’ passion for psychology has inspired him to go back into to education after having two children, the Penwith campus of the University Centre providing the perfect place to study close to home.

A change in circumstances meant Chelsea was unable to move away for university, but she found that she was still able to achieve her aspirations by studying locally at the University Centre Truro and Penwith.
