Niall – FdSc Health and Wellbeing
For Niall, studying in Cornwall wasn’t just about convenience, it was about comfort, community, and continuing his passion for health and wellbeing in a way that fits in with his daily life. Luckily, with the University Centre Truro and Penwith, he didn’t have to compromise on location to study his passion.
Simon – BA (Hons) Education and Training
From coaching future Olympians in fencing to preparing the next generation in the classroom, Simon’s journey is an example of the power of accessible education.
Fred – BSc (Hons) Applied Sport and Health Science
Fred’s journey with the College has come full circle, from playing in Truro College’s Football Academy first team to later coaching it. Alongside this, he became a fully qualified gym instructor thanks to his degree at the University Centre and now is committed to helping students both on the pitch and in the gym.

Maisie says her favourite thing about Truro and Penwith College is her tutors and she would recommend the College to others because it helps her feel independent and achieve her goals.

Joshua chose Truro College for its strong Physics and Environmental Sciences programs. He valued hands-on learning and balanced A Levels with pilot training.
