Becky then later moved into the hospitality trade, in various roles ranging from bar steward, sommelier, silver service waitress and working in the kitchen. Becky then spent nearly a decade in retail/pharmacy before moving into education, teaching and supporting in a secondary school for seventeen years until moving to her current role here at Truro & Penwith College as an Apprenticeship Advisor.
Becky is a Duke of Edinburgh Assessor, leader, and Expedition Supervisor in her spare time. She enjoys supporting young people to achieve these awards, believing it helps develop their skills while boosting their self-esteem, which in turn will support them when entering a workplace.
Becky also volunteers at the Hall for Cornwall, supporting in the running of shows. She enjoys getting out in the outdoors whether walking or hiking on moorland, being at a festival listening to music, or on the beach in the beautiful county of Cornwall.
