IMPLICATIONS FOR THE APPLICANT, SCHOOL OR COLLEGE:

An applicant who is employed full time by a school / college would be treated as a seconded post for the 39 weeks of the academic year with costs covered from the range above. The post is temporary in the first instance pending a successful induction period.

We will ideally be looking for flexibility in the way work is allocated and managed (i.e. there may be more work in some weeks than others but it will not go above a 0.6 fte annual equivalent). However, we will also consider a job share between a number of successful candidates. The nature of the post calls for an ability to travel to different partnership schools and work from our base at Truro College as well as from home.

Due to these implications, if any applicant is seeking a secondment of 0.6 fte (or 0.2/0.4 variations) from their teaching position, their application must first be sanctioned by the Head teacher / Principal of the institution and their agreement put in writing and sent to the course director above.

Applications & references may be discussed by members of the Executive Board in the first instance.

Successful candidates will be notified within 4 weeks of the closing date
