College Based Plumber & Heating Engineer (Truro)

This is a unique opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to work weekdays at Truro and Penwith College, taking a lead on the monitoring and maintenance of the Colleges plumbing and heating systems.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 or above in Heating & Ventilation as well as Testing & Inspection. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience of managing or supervising small discipline of works would be advantageous.

The main priority of this role is to maintain the plumbing and heating systems within the College and its associated domestic properties to an excellent standard so candidates must be able to work in remote and confined spaces, such as attics and plantrooms, as well as the ability to work on ladders, portable tower and fixed scaffolding.
