English Lecturers – GCSE and Functional Skills (Truro)

We are one of the highest performing colleges nationally on all courses at all levels, rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’.

We are looking for a vibrant and committed lecturer with the ability to inspire students and maintain excellent working relationships in a successful English and Languages team. The College is committed to ensuring all students achieve Level 2 English during their programme of study and this post will have a particular remit for GCSE and Functional Skills delivery. There may also be the opportunity to teach on our Level 3 A Level and IB English courses.

We are looking for someone who works with confidence with a wide variety of ability levels, who is a committed team member and who projects an enthusiasm for this subject.

Applicants should hold a degree or similar professional qualifications and a recognised teaching qualification.

We have both full and part time posts available due to the expansion of the department. Please indicate clearly when applying which role(s) you wish to be considered for.
