Truro and Penwith College is recruiting for a Curriculum Area Lead for the Cornwall Space and Aerospace Technology Training (CSATT) project. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead, design, and contribute to higher education and training in Cornwall. The following post is initially funded on a fixed-term basis until August 2023.
As a Curriculum Area Lead, you will be engaging with employers to design and assist in the delivery of a range of higher education, higher level apprenticeships, and industry-relevant short courses. You will be working with companies including Spaceport Cornwall, Aerospace Cornwall, and Goonhilly Earth Station, as well as a range of businesses across Cornwall and the South West.
Successful candidates are expected to have a higher-level degree in engineering or a computing/digital related field and ideally, research and teaching experience within a higher education institution. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidates to shape provision and help to develop the Cornish economy and career opportunities for its workforce.
Truro and Penwith College is the only Cornish College member of the South West Institute of Technology. We recently opened our brand-new state-of-the-art £7million Valency engineering building on the Truro & Penwith College campus. You will be based in Valency working within a small project team, as part of the wider engineering department.
