Truro & Penwith College are looking to appoint a dedicated, professional individual with a strong understanding and experience of corporate governance.
Occupying a key and influential coordinating role within the organisation, the post-holder will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the highest levels of Board governance, managing the interface between the Board of Governors and the College’s Senior Management Team, ensuring that effective relationships are established and maintained and facilitating the smooth operation of the Board’s formal decision-making and reporting processes.
Applicants should have the ability to act with impartiality and discretion while providing independent, high-quality guidance on statutory, constitutional, operational procedural and ethical issues as they affect the Board of Governors, its committees and its subsidiaries.
