An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with both the IT Services and the e-Learning Teams, providing support for IT systems and assisting end users, for a dual role providing ongoing maintenance of the computing and associated systems used by the College as part of the IT team, alongside developing and implementing eLearning throughout the College as part of the E-Learning Team.
Applicants should have a pro-active, positive, flexible, and reliable approach to work and an enthusiasm for working in an education environment as part of a team as well as using their own initiative.
The ideal candidate will have a good selection of the following skills and experience; excellent communication skills for both remote support and working face to face, previous experience working in a customer facing IT support role, working with PC Android and iOS plus an understanding of current trends and developments (e.g. 365 and Teams) within a teaching and learning environment and the IT skills to support this.
The post holder will predominantly be based at Callywith College in Bodmin but may be required to attend Truro and Penwith sites.
