Full Time or Fractional
We are one of the highest performing colleges nationally on all courses at all levels, rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’.
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Health & Social Care department. We are a hard-working and supportive team, running courses from Level 1 to Level 6 in Health and Social Care and Childcare, where we deliver on a wide and varied curriculum offer including T Levels, BTEC, Access and Degree Level Courses.
We are looking for an outstanding Health & Social Care professional with current and relevant sector experience. You will also have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one, which the College will support you to achieve. You will be passionate about working in the Health and or Care sector, and supporting our learners to gain the skills, knowledge, and qualifications to progress either directly into the workforce, or onto further higher level studies.
The successful candidate will be required to teach on a range of courses, but we envisage most of the teaching to be with our Study Programme learners, aged 16–19. The modules you will develop, teach and lead on will be linked to your experience and expertise, and there is scope to work within our practical suites to deliver hands-on practical training. You will also make use of your sector experience, to support students as they undertake placements within local Health Care settings. A commitment to curriculum development and a flexible approach to teaching and learning are required.
The successful applicant will need to be committed to CPD and contribute to providing a truly outstanding learning experience for our students.
Please state when applying if you wish to apply for a full time or fractional post.
*Salary as advertised is based on a qualified lecturer. Non-qualified applicants will be considered but will be paid on a non-qualified lecturer scale.
We offer a generous package with benefits including 40 days annual leave plus bank holidays and College closure days, teacher pension scheme, relocation package, free on-site parking and a variety of on-site benefits and discounts.
