We are looking for a vibrant and committed lecturer at our Truro Campus who will combine appropriate industry experience, academic and teaching qualifications with the ability to inspire students and maintain excellent working relationships in a successful Performing Arts department.
We are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified individual to join our highly successful and dynamic Performing Arts Team to teach on our BTEC Level 3 in Production Arts Practice course, delivering production skills and techniques within a professional theatre environment, and with a particular specialism in Lighting. Familiarity with an Avolites Tiger Touch Pro desk is desirable.
Experience of delivering these courses is essential along with the ability to coordinate and carry out assessment processes. Applicants should hold a degree or similar professional qualification and a recognised teaching qualification. The successful candidate will also be committed to our tutorial programme.
*Salary as advertised is based on a qualified lecturer. Non-qualified applicants will be considered but will be paid on a non-qualified lecturer scale.
