Our brand-new STEM and Health Skills Centre in Bodmin (the Ottery Building) aims to transform the teaching of industry-relevant skills – this is made possible by the determination and enthusiasm of our staff, who have a passion for what they do and the difference it can make to our students and our college.

We would particularly welcome applicants with critical care and mental health backgrounds, as well as individuals with postgraduate level qualifications. We also require individuals that can teach anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology and human biology. Part time opportunities may be considered for those looking to maintain their existing sector roles and experience.
In partnership with the University of Greenwich, Truro and Penwith College has expanded its apprenticeship offer to including Senior Healthcare Support Worker, Nursing Associate, Operating Department Practitioner and Registered Nurse.
We are looking for HCPC and NMC registrants, with experience of teaching and assessing and ideally curriculum development. Successful applicants will be expected to provide high quality teaching, hold or be prepared to gain a relevant teaching qualification, and be committed to being part of a new exciting initiative to help the future supply of healthcare professionals in Cornwall. Candidates may be required to work at Bodmin and Truro campuses.
*Salary as advertised is based on a qualified lecturer. Non-qualified applicants will be considered but will be paid on a non-qualified lecturer scale.
