Health and Social Care Lecturer – T Level (Truro)

Truro and Penwith College is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our Health and Social Care team as a Lecturer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in science, with the ability to teach biology and anatomy, coupled with practical experience in a clinical profession.

We welcome applications from staff with a clinical background in nursing or other allied health professions to support in the teaching of clinical skills and the underpinning theoretical knowledge.

Applicants should have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one and be passionate about working in the Health and or Care sector. They should also be enthusiastic about supporting learners to gain the skills, knowledge, and qualifications to progress either directly into the workforce, or onto further higher level studies.

The successful candidate will be required to make use of their sector experience to support students as they undertake placements within local Health Care settings. A commitment to curriculum development and a flexible approach to teaching and learning are required.

The successful applicant will need to be committed to CPD and contribute to providing a truly outstanding learning experience for our students.
