Outreach Officer (Truro)

Truro and Penwith College are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and passionate Outreach Officer to contribute to the delivery of the OfS funded South West National Collaborative Outreach Programme (SWNCOP), known as Next Steps South West (NSSW). The role focuses on raising awareness of and access to Higher Education and requires someone who is committed to the importance of learning in general and Higher Education in particular.

The successful applicant will ideally have a teaching qualification and experience of delivery, both face to face and online, in an FE college or with years 12 and 13, including the delivery of workshops and information, advice and guidance. The applicant will also require good project management skills and will have successfully planned and run events and activities.

The Outreach Officer will be required to build strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint and data and financial reporting will be essential. Previous applicants will be carried forward.
