We are seeking to appoint a Software Developer to assist with the Development and maintenance of the College Management Information System (ESS UNIT-e) and associated applications. Based primarily at the Truro College Campus, the post-holder will work as part of a larger team that provides IT services to all College sites.
The ideal applicant will be an experienced developer with skills in php, javascript, web api’s and c# to support the development of applications in the Capita UNIT-e II framework. Knowledge of developing for Microsoft 365, Power BI, reporting services and associated platforms would also be desirable.
Additionally, applicants should have a good working knowledge of relational database principals (SQL) and database maintenance, as well as experience of developing software solutions in line with College needs.
We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible, enthusiastic and reliable who will work well as part of a team, as well as using their own initiative bringing creative ideas and innovative problem-solving skills. The team delivers IT Projects to the College across 3 sites, so excellent communication skills are a must, and access to own transport would be desirable.
