Chapter 1: Welcome to Virtual Truro College. An introduction to Truro and Penwith College. 

Chapter 2: Meet our leavers.  Students talk you through their experience of studying at Truro College and how the College has helped them progress onto their next step in achieving their dreams.

Chapter 3: Learning options explained. Cheryl Mewton, assistant principal and director of studies provides an overview of the College’s learning options, key services such as transport, student support, open events and how to apply.

Chapter 4: Student Services. Find out about the range of student support available at Truro College with Caroline Keech, Team Leader of Student Services.

Chapter 5: Careers Advice. Meet the College’s careers advisor, Tim Moody and find out more about how the College helps students to progress onto their dream careers.

Chapter 6: Health, Wellbeing and Sport (HWS). Julian Wills introduces the College’s award winning HWS programme that helps staff and students from all learning areas stay active and maintain their health and wellbeing while at College.

Chapter 7: T Levels. Gillian Keegan, minister for apprenticeships and skills introduces T Level qualifications. Truro College is the only provider in Cornwall to offer these new qualifications. Find out more at truro-penwith.ac.uk/Tlevels.

Chapter 8: Apprenticeships. Tammy McDermott, apprenticeship recruitment coordinator talks you through the College’s award-winning apprenticeship offer and how to apply.

Chapter 9: Apprenticeships with Paul Ainsworth. Paul Ainsworth is one of the UK’s top chefs, regularly appearing on some of the nation’s favourite TV shows. Paul introduces his apprenticeship academy and is recruiting now.  The Paul Ainsworth Collection is just one example of Cornwall’s top employers offering quality careers with Truro and Penwith College apprenticeships.

Chapter 10: Why I chose to study an Apprenticeship. Don’t just take our word for it; our apprentice learners explain why they chose apprenticeships and their experience of starting a quality career with Truro and Penwith College.

Chapter 11: Journeys: Daisy Clark. Music student Daisy Clark takes you through her journey from why she chose the College to successfully completing her studies, gigging locally and being signed as a professional musician.

Chapter 12: Journeys: Molly Caudery.  Sport student and pole-vaulter Molly Caudery describes her journey from joining the College to representing Team GB at the Commonwealth Games.

Chapter 13: Football Development Programme with Chelsea FC Foundation. The College’s Football Development Manager, Gary Pascoe and Shaun Gore from the Chelsea FC Foundation talk you through the College’s development programme at the launch and first student visit to Chelsea FC’s Cobham training complex.
