Course: BA (Hons) Human Behavioural Studies
My Story:
Victoria came to the University Centre after completing the Access to Humanities, Teaching and Law course at Truro College, which she found to be really helpful in re-entering the education system. Now having completed her degree, Victoria found out that she scored the highest in her class with an overall score of 81, achieving a first class honours.
Victoria said: “Doing the access course helped me to get back into education after an extended period out of it. They helped me with the UCAS Application and extra support going back into education.”
“I loved seeing myself grow as a student, I didn’t think I was capable of what I’ve achieved. Being able to see myself grow over the three years has been amazing and has given me so much confidence.”
“I chose Truro because it was the closest University to me and the one-on-one support that you get here is great compared to the big universities.”
“The lecturers have bee amazing, they’ve been so supportive with extra help and have been so easy to contact.”
Victoria’s advice to anyone looking to follow in her footsteps would be: “Know that you can achieve if you believe in yourself.”
