Learners benefit from industry experienced, professional teaching while learning in state-of the-art facilities that rival some of the very best the UK has to offer.
Returning to study Maths and English can feel daunting, but our experienced and supportive team of tutors is here to guide you every step of the way. These courses provide a strong foundation in numeracy and literacy skills for further academic/vocational study and for employment. Both are free of charge if you have not previously achieved a grade 4 - 9 (or A* to C) in English or Maths (dependent on personal circumstances such as residency status).
Reimagine your future with an Access to HE Diploma: A stepping stone to university level courses Our QAA approved diplomas are nationally recognised as an alternative educational pathway into higher education. The diplomas are designed to give mature students the necessary grounding and qualifications to progress onto university level courses. At the Bodmin campus we offer Diplomas in Computing, Nursing and Science. Under certain circumstances you may qualify for full funding.
Unlock your potential at the STEM & Health Skills Centre in Bodmin, where university-level courses in Nursing Associate, Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Operating Department Practice are offered in partnership with the University of Greenwich. Delivered over just two days a week, these programs are designed to balance family life with academic ambition. Gain hands-on experience in state-of-the-art health simulation suites where you can strengthen your clinical skills and confidently prepare for work placements.
Maths or English holding you back?
GCSE Maths - a one-year course providing a strong foundation in numeracy skills for further academic/vocational study and for employment.

The Access to HE Diploma: Science
Are you eager to pursue a career in science or healthcare, where you have the opportunity to solve real-world problems, drive innovation, advance healthcare and shape the future? If you’re considering a career in this sector, this course might be the perfect fit for you. This diploma gives students a solid grounding in biology and chemistry and will allow progression to a variety of degrees from Biomedical Science, Chemistry and Pharmacy to Dietetics and other Allied Health professions.
Access to HE Diploma: Nursing & Human Sciences
Working as a nurse or allied health professional means making a meaningful impact every day.
