This Level 4 Apprenticeship will help you to become the best hospitality manager you can be, gaining skills in business and personal development. You must be working in a role with management responsibilities to join the 21 month programme (with an additional 3 month end Point assessment).

Higher Apprenticeship

This course will give you an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and abilities to work at a higher academic level. You will have a taught session once a month and weekly online seminars to support and guide you.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

You will gain skills across the hospitality industry that will ensure you the skills you need to excel in the industry. You will gain an understanding of management information, how management will affect the business and its success with a focus on driving business change. You will also understand the business strategy and its key competitors and how it fits within the wider hospitality industry in which it operates.

WHERE WILL IT TAKE ME?

On completion of Level 4 Apprenticeship in Hospitality Manager, you will be a fully trained and rounded manager with the skills to be able to manage a department or business. This enables you to support the business to grow and succeed and take the next step in your career.

Future opportunities also include studying the Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management and progressing on to a Business Degree.

Assessment Arrangements

After your 21 month Apprenticeship you will complete a 3 month EPA (End Point Assessment). The methods include:

  • On-demand tests
  • Business Project
  • Professional discussion

Entry Requirements

You will attend an interview with the Apprenticeship Advisor who will support you to find a suitable apprenticeship.

Once a job has been secured you will have an interview with our Training Advisor to discuss the programme. You will also discuss your experience and performance and your attitude will be taken into account.

To ensure you are working at the required level you will need to have achieved a minimum of Level 2 English and Maths prior to enrolling on the course.

This will ensure you are able to work at the required level and give yourself the best chance of achieving your apprenticeship and furthering your career.

Information & Support

Working within the Student Services area, the Student Support team will see you on a one to one basis and offer advice and guidance on financial, personal and emotional issues.

A professional team of staff will work together with your tutor and training advisor to support you so that you can successfully complete your course and recognise pathways to progression after leaving College.

Additional Information

The awarding body for this qualification is BIIAB for the Apprenticeship assessment and Pearson for the Higher National Certificate.
