What will I learn?

You will be equipped with employment skills and an enhanced CV to ensure that you have the best opportunity to gain the career of your choice. The course will cover personal preparation for employment, self-improvement and effective behaviour at work. A key part of the course will be a work placement learning opportunity in an area of choice supported by a job coach. You will work for a real business to gain practical experience that will not only enhance your CV but also help cement your career choice when leaving education. Additional courses linked to the placement are also available.

 

where will it take me?

In some cases, you may stay with the business and undertake an Apprenticeship or gain full-time employment. For those seeking to move into the work environment, we will help with applications and support you with interview preparation via video analysis. You will be able to move into an Apprenticeship or employment at any point in the year or move into further learning the following academic year.
