After two years of hard work and dedication over 1,600 A Level, Vocational Diploma and T Level students collected their results in August. With almost 1,000 students leaving College having secured entry to their first-choice university, this year is the culmination of their efforts and diligence, supported through the care, expertise and dedication of our excellent staff.
“The best part about College was meeting new people, for sure. The different lessons and free periods really enable you to do this."

My story:
Alexander had big ambitions growing up and with the support from tutors at Penwith College, plans to go to Bath University to study Aerospace Engineering. Alexander likes the independence and the atmosphere of college life and has enjoyed meeting lots of like-minded people.Â
Alexander said: “I was really scared coming to the College at first but then after the first day it was fine. Everybody is in the same boat. You soon realise that the tutors are really good people and they’re there to help you.Â
“They helped me with my application and with what to put on it in terms of recommendations and work experience. They gave me ideas of what universities could offer too.
“The best part about College was meeting new people, for sure. The different lessons and free periods really enable you to do this. You’re given a lot of independence.
“Next, I plan to go to Bath University to study Aerospace Engineering. I’d love to get into Aerospace, F1 or building new engines. In the future I would love to be able to invent something new. When I was a child I had loads of different ambitions, but since coming to College I knew this was a route I wanted to go down.
“I’m very ambitious and want to be successful, so it would be great to build a business out of whatever I may create.”
