My story:
Penwith College was the obvious choice for Sadie, not only for the convenience of studying close to home, but also for the breadth of creativity that her course provided. Sadie enjoyed her course so much, she now wants to go to university to study media further.
Sadie said: “I chose Penwith College because it was local to me. Penwith offered the course I wanted to do, and it meant I didn’t have to make any long bus journeys because it was right on my doorstep.
“There are certain criteria you have to meet with different projects, but beyond that you can be very creative. Doing a vocational course gives you creative freedom. One of the most interesting things we have done is a project on post-modern film/cinema.
“My advice to future students would be to not let other people push you away from something you enjoy and want to do.
“I plan to go to Cardiff University to study Media, Journalism and Culture.”
